amayoru is two years old today. To celebrate, every one of our ten resident artists has written a brand new track, and all ten premiere during today's 12-hour broadcast.
We asked each artist for one thing: write a piece about a window. What you see through it, what you hear through it, or who is on the other side. The results are completely different from each other, which is exactly what we hoped for.
Premiere times (JST)
- 12:00 Amane Hoshino
- 13:00 Shiori Fields
- 14:00 Nekomata Beats (Mochi will be present)
- 15:00 Low Tide Club
- 16:00 Mio Sakuraba
- 17:00 Yuzu Sodafloat
- 19:00 Ren Kagami
- 20:00 Kumo Kissa
- 21:00 Hanabi Tape
- 23:00 tsukiyo.
Year two in a few lines
This year we rebuilt the archive, redrew Morning Café, added a second sakura season and welcomed listeners from 31 new countries. We also learned that the chat can produce 400 cat emoji per minute when Mochi blinks at the right moment.
Thank you
It still surprises us that a radio with no app, no ads and no shouting has found so many of you. Thank you for keeping the window open.
