Happy new year from all of us at amayoru. As promised, the snow is back in Night Rain, and this year it comes with a few improvements we have been working on since the autumn.
What is new this winter
- Flakes now drift on several layers, so the snow near the window moves faster than the snow over the city.
- The windowsill collects a soft line of snow over the evening.
- Shizuku's desk lamp is a little warmer, because several of you said last year's snow looked cold. You were right.
A quieter playlist
Winter Night Rain is the quietest show we run all year. This season includes new pieces by Amane Hoshino and Shiori Fields, both recorded on felt-muted pianos late at night. If you fall asleep before the end, that is considered a success.
Looking back at 2025
Next month we will pass 1,000 days on air. Last year we welcomed listeners from 31 new countries and finally gave the Morning Café regular a name: after a long chat vote, she is called Hana.
Looking ahead
In 2026 we want to improve the archive with short preview clips for our specials, and we are quietly sketching ideas for amayoru merchandise. Nothing to announce yet, but if you have ever wanted a mug with a rainy window on it, keep an eye on the Shop page.

amayoruのみんなから、あけましておめでとうございます。約束どおり、ナイト・レインに雪が戻ってきました。今年は秋から準備してきたいくつかの改良つきです。
この冬の新しいところ
- 雪がいくつもの層で舞うようになり、窓の近くの雪は街の上の雪より速く動きます。
- 夜がふけるにつれて、窓枠にやわらかく雪が積もります。
- しずくのデスクライトが少しだけあたたかい色に。去年の雪は寒そうに見えたという声がいくつもあったからです。そのとおりでした。
もっと静かなプレイリスト
冬のナイト・レインは、一年でいちばん静かな番組です。今シーズンは、星野あまねとシオリ・フィールズの新曲も。どちらも夜遅く、フェルトでミュートしたピアノで録音されました。最後まで聴く前に眠ってしまったら、それは成功です。
2025年をふりかえって
来月には放送1,000日を迎えます。去年は31か国の新しいリスナーに出会い、モーニング・カフェの常連さんにようやく名前がつきました。長いチャット投票の結果、彼女の名前は「ハナ」です。
これから
2026年は、スペシャルの短いプレビュー映像でアーカイブをもっと見やすくしたいと思っています。amayoruのグッズのアイデアも、こっそり考えています。まだ発表できることはありませんが、雨の窓が描かれたマグカップがほしいと思ったことがあるなら、Shopページをときどきのぞいてみてください。
